Introduction to Racing:
Monday 4th April. 9.30am to 4.30pm
RYA Coach Adam McGovern will run a second one day session for club members. The course can build on the previous one but will also be suitable for anyone just starting out.
Open to members - you just need the most basic skills in dinghy sailing - even if you are just starting out, this will help you improve your general sailing skills.
Start Racing:
Sunday 2nd / Monday 3rd May 2010
This is a certificated course. Again aimed at beginners and again you will only need basic skills - about RYA Level 2 dinghy.
This will cover a set syllabus and give participants lots of practice at start lines and rounding marks.
Luke Shaw is the RYA Coach and has had lots of experience making the course fun & enjoyable.
This could be a good follow on from the Introductory course.

Emergency 1st Aid Course - 6th March 2010
Emergency First Response (EFR) First Aid Training is HSE Accredited and also recognized by RYA, BCU, D of E Award and The Scout Association.
The training is based around the EFR Primary and Secondary Care DVD. After watching each skill demonstrated in simulated situations on the DVD your instructor will demonstrate the skill and then work with you until you have mastered it.
This course is provided in conjunction with other clubs and is almost full email weaversailing@googlemail.com to register.
