RYA Training Centre
Following Stuart Ball, the Commodore, achieving his RYA Power Boat Instructors qualification, WSC is to apply to the RYA for Training Centre status.
This will enable the Club to offer formal power boat courses leading to a RYA qualification.
Compound Discounts
The compound discount scheme will be discontinued as from 1st January 2012.
Members who qualified for a discount during 2011 will be notified and will receive the discount when renewing their membership for 2012.
Craft Identification
All craft used by members at WSC will be required to display a craft identification sticker as from 2012.
A sticker will be issued to members when renewing their membership, and must be displayed by 1st April 2012.
Skiing
Matt Brassington achieves 2nd in Division two UK standings.
A big congratulation to Matthew in achieving 2nd place in division two UK standings for slalom, his personal best was 5 buoys @ 14.25 metres (58kph) which is a fantastic achievement. This puts him 70th in the UK overall and the British Team are in the 70!
WSC wishes Matt all the best for the 2012 season.
